Sustainable Construction

LAWA is currently implementing a $15 billion major capital investment program at LAX that includes significant work on both the airfield side and land side. Each project includes sustainability elements as part of their design, construction, operations, and maintenance.

A number of projects are LEED certified or pursuing LEED or Envision certifications.
