Capacity Building

Bonding Program

Administered by the Office of the City Administrative Officer, Risk Management, for all City departments, CDABP is designed to assist in removing the barriers of surety bonding by providing technical and administrative assistance to local, small and minority businesses who would not otherwise be able to provide, on their own, the necessary bid, payment, and performance bonds to successfully bid and compete for City business opportunities.

For information on CDABP go to the City's Risk Management website at http://cao.lacity.org/ or for inquiries regarding signing up for the program, please call 213-258-3000 or apply on-line at www.lacondev.com. The website links directly to Merriwether and Williams Insurance Services the City's CDABP broker/administrator.
