About LAX SECURITY
Los Angeles Airport Security (LAX Security) is a division of the Los Angeles Airport Police. Along with our sworn component, we are dedicated exclusively to 24-hour airport activities. Over the last 45 years and since 9/11, our organization has rapidly grown and with the forthcoming of LAX’s modernization, the high demand of security measures remains top priority at our airports. We presently serve Los Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport.
* Pursuant to City of Los Angeles Ordinance No. 187219, patrons entering a City facility must show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test within 72 hours.
