Construction Activities to Begin on 96th Street
Activity:
Temporary lane closures on 96th Street between Airport Boulevard and Bellanca Avenue will be in effect from Monday, June 25 through Friday, August 31. Eastbound and westbound traffic on 96th Street will be reduced to one lane at varying times through this stretch and maintained by two flaggers at all times. The closure will allow for survey and utility work to take place in advance of construction of the Automated People Mover (APM) Maintenance and Storage Facility, which will be built near this location. Other construction activities include borings, grading, paving and fencing to build a temporary bus storage lot for Hertz.

Access:
Two-way traffic on 96th Street will be maintained by flaggers. Vehicles may use eastbound 98th Street to northbound Bellanca Avenue to avoid construction.
