CLOSURE ON ARBOR VITAE ST. BETWEEN JENNY AVE. AND AVIATION BLVD

Activity:

To facilitate roadway improvements related to the Consolidated Rent-A-Car (ConRAC) facility, street closures will be implemented on Arbor Vitae St. between Jenny Ave. and Aviation Blvd. on Friday, January 26 at 8 p.m. through Monday, January 29 at 6 a.m. Please see the below map for details on the planned phased closures.

Upon completion of this work on January 29 at 6 a.m., Arbor Vitae St. is scheduled to reopen to all traffic, including the portion of the street that has been closed since November 2023. Crews are scheduled to return to this area in February 2024 to perform final restoration and permanent striping; a new construction advisory will be issued in advance of this work.

As detailed in the below map, please note:

• Aviation Blvd between Century Blvd. and Arbor Vitae St. will be fully closed over this same weekend, January 26 to 29. Additionally, northbound Aviation Blvd. between these two streets is closed continuously through March 2024. More information on this closure is available at: lawa.org/transforminglax/advisories.

Flaggers and detour signage will be in place to assist with the maintenance of traffic to local businesses. Please plan ahead and always observe posted signage, remain alert and use caution when traveling near construction areas.
