NIGHTLY CLOSURES ON AVIATION BOULEVARD BETWEEN ARBOR VITAE STREET AND CENTURY BOULEVARD

Activity:

The Los Angeles Bureau of Street Services will implement overnight lane restrictions at the Sepulveda Boulevard tunnel near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) during a systems upgrade. Motorists should plan ahead for possible delays and take alternate routes to reach LAX during the lane restrictions.

Dates:

Monday, Feb. 6 – Sunday, Feb. 26 (could be completed as early as Feb. 20)

Times:

11 p.m. – 5 a.m. (the following morning)

Impacts:

Two of the three lanes in each direction on Sepulveda Boulevard will be closed, with one lane remaining open on each side. Between Feb. 6 and approximately Feb. 13, the middle and right lanes will be closed, along with the transition ramp from the Upper/Departures Level at LAX to southbound Sepulveda Boulevard. Vehicles leaving the Upper Level will be detoured to Century Boulevard. During the second phase of the work, starting approximately Feb. 13, the left and middle lanes of Sepulveda Boulevard will be closed.
