OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES ON SEPULVEDA BOULEVARD NEAR LAX FOR PEOPLE MOVER TRAIN GUIDEWAY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES

Activity:

Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 12, overnight lane closures will be in place on Sepulveda Boulevard near LAX to construct the Automated People Mover train guideway over the roadway. Single lane or two-lane directional closures of the roadway will only take place during overnight hours. One northbound and southbound through lane will always be available during the lane closures.

This span of guideway will be built utilizing segmental construction techniques, working from both the east and west sides of Sepulveda Boulevard to connect in the middle over the median.

Access to northbound Sepulveda Boulevard lanes from Century Boulevard will be closed during the overnight hours listed below.

During the closures, travelers should plan to allow extra time to access LAX and use caution when traveling through the area.
