Activity:
Beginning, Wednesday, Sept. 15, Lower World Way (Arrivals Level) outer lanes will be closed for several nights to prepare for construction of a pedestrian bridge over World Way. The pedestrian bridge will connect to the future Automated People Mover's Center Central Terminal Area Station. Full closures of the Lower/Arrivals Level outer lanes will be in effect from Tuesday, Sept. 14 to Thursday, Sept. 30 and Friday, Oct. 22 from midnight to 6 a.m. During these closures, all traffic will be detoured to the inner lanes on the Lower/Arrivals. Please watch for posted signage and prepare to follow all detour routes during this work.
In addition to the full closures, from Monday, Sept. 13 to Tuesday, Oct. 5, k-rail will be in place around the construction area, reducing the number of available driving lanes 24/7 across from Terminal 2. Flaggers will assist with traffic control. Please use caution when traveling through the area.
