AIRPORT BOULEVARD BETWEEN 93RD AND 96TH STREETS CLOSED OVERNIGHT TO SUPPORT APM CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES

Activity:

From Oct. 14 to Oct. 16 Airport Boulevard between 93rd and 96th streets will be closed during limited overnight hours to support Automated People Mover (APM) signal work at the 96th Street and Airport Boulevard intersection.

Following this activity, Airport Boulevard will be closed during limited overnight hours beginning Sunday, Oct. 18 to install the APM falsework that spans the roadway at this location.

During both activities, northbound traffic on Airport Boulevard will use 96th Street to detour around the closure. Southbound traffic will be directed to Westchester Parkway to detour around the closure. Detour signage will be posted. Local business access will be maintained for the hotels on Airport Boulevard.

Intersection Signal Work: Wednesday, Oct. 14 to Friday, Oct. 16

Falsework Installation: Sunday, Oct. 18 to Friday, Oct. 23

11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
