Motor Vehicle Operating Permit (MVOP)
What is it?
This permit authorized construction company vehicles to access the Air Operations Area (AOA) to perform construction projects.
Who gets it?
All contractors required to utilize motor vehicles on the AOA.

- LAWA Vehicles
- Government Vehicles (City, State, Federal)
- Ground Equipment (tugs, etc.)
- Taxis, limos, shuttle buses and other vehicles driven in public areas

Construction vehicles are issued Monthly Motor Vehicle Operating Permits monthly, Permits are issued by Planning and Development Group at (424) 646-5700.
Non-Construction vehicles requiring Air Carrier Operating Permits (ACOP), Single Use Operating Certificates (SUOC), Certified Service Provider Program (CSPP), Certified Service Provider License Agreement (CSPLA), Non-Exclusive License Agreement (NELA), or fuel delivery permits, please contact Airfield Permit Services Division at (424) 646-5880.
TAXI, LIMO, SHUTTLE BUS and other such landside vehicles receive Ground Transportation Permits are issued by Airport Permit Services, Ground Transportation, at (424) 646-6460.
