Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is actively developing a Safety Management System (SMS) as part of our commitment to advancing aviation safety. This initiative is a continual process that will unfold over several years, emphasizing our dedication to promoting safety and reducing risk to employees. The SMS development is comprised of four components - safety policy, safety risk management, safety assurance, and safety promotion. We invite all LAX stakeholders to join us on this journey towards elevating safety at LAX.
