Daily closures of Vehicle Service Road E17 Between Vehicle Service Road AA and Vehicle Service Road E16 from December 12, 2022 – February 28, 2023 (Monday -Friday 0700-2100L).
The RS-X Project will conduct daily closures of Vehicle Service Road (VSR) E17 between Vehicle Service Road AA and Vehicle Service Road E16 starting on December 12, 2022 at 0700L, to pull cables inside manholes located in the service road for the new LADWP Receiving Station-X.
Vehicles needing to transit around the West Remote Gates may still use VSR AA, VSR E and VSR E17, west of the closure area.
Access will be maintained to Remote Gates 401-419 from VSR E and VSR AA.
Operational Impacts:
- Daily closure of Vehicle Service Road E17 between VSR AA and VSR E16, Monday-Friday from 0700-2100L.
- Vehicles needing access to Gates 401-405 will need to use either the VSR crossing Taxilane E15, between Gates 412 and 403 or use VSR AA and VSR E to get around the closure area.
- Vehicles needing access to Gates 410-419 will need to use VSR E to the access road between Gates 418-419.
- Vehicles transitioning from the north airfield to the south airfield must use VSR E to VSR AA southbound.
