Since its founding in 2012, String Harmonies has emerged as a pivotal Armenian cultural music project in the United States. Featuring the authentic microtonal sensibilities of the oud, a Middle Eastern stringed instrument, violin, and innovative bass accompaniment, String Harmonies achieves a unique fusion of modern and traditional Armenian heritage-based musical elements. Achieving critical acclaim with their debut album Trinity, the group has gone on to tour extensively across the United States, with exciting performances for audiences of all ages. The talented ensemble interprets traditional forms of music with a modern, fusional, and experimental twist, with members who regularly appear on global stages all around the world. Whether it’s Middle Eastern jazz, classical, or folk, String Harmonies delivers a new way of experiencing Armenian cultural heritage to the amazement of its audiences.
