West Coast Singers

December 14 & 15

Tom Bradley International Terminal & Terminal 7

Celebrating the group’s 40th anniversary, West Coast Singers LGBTQ+ Chorus of Los Angeles (WCS) continues their legacy of promoting diversity, inspiring equality, and building a community of acceptance through their stunning performances. WCS gives voice to LGBTQ+ histories through song, sharing stories that often go untold as a way of opening the hearts and minds of audiences across the region. WSC was founded in 1983, marking them as the third-oldest queer, straight-ally, and mixed-voice chorus in the United States. Since their founding, WCS has grown from a handful of members to now having over 50 singers representing the rich diversity of Southern California. WCS welcomes singers of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions who enjoy performance and the camaraderie of a community chorus. Hosting two major concerts and multiple community outreach performances each year, WCS engages audiences with their musical excellence while promoting understanding, healing, and cooperation.
