Daniel Ho, Keali ʻ i Ceballos & Friends perform original music that is a blend of Hawaiian, folk, global rhythms, and contemporary ‘ukulele sounds. Daniel Ho is an ‘ukulele virtuoso, slack key guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, singer-songwriter, producer, audio engineer, and record company owner. He is a six-time Grammy Award winner and recipient of multiple Hawaiian Music awards. His collaborations transcend genre s— from traditional and contemporary Hawaiian Music to World Music with Taiwanese aboriginals and Mongolian nomads, to duets with Pepe Romero the maestro of classical guitar, to contemporary jazz and rock with Tak Matsumoto of the Japanese supergroup, B’z. Daniel’s music has been featured in film and television projects such as The Descendants, Soul Surfer, Hawaiʻi Five-O, and NHK (Japan).
Southern California-based dance troupe Hālau Hula Kealiʻi o Nālani was founded in 1991 under the direction of Kumu Hula Kealiʻi Ceballos. As a hula teacher, Kealiʻi is passionate about sharing Hawaiian culture—its art, identity, language, and sense of ʻohana (family)—and his haum ā na (students) embody these ways in their ever-graceful movements and spirit.
Cellist Danna Xue is an interdisciplinary artist, model, and musician. Graduating with a M.S. in Sustainability Science and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, Danna has collaborated with influential artists across art, tech, and sustainability.
